About Jacques Cartier Clothier/Qiviuk Boutique

Jacques Cartier Clothier/Qiviuk Boutique has been a fixture in Banff and Lake Louise for over 25 years, we specialize in creating garments, accessories and yarn made with unique and rare natural fibres such as Qiviuk (from the Arctic Muskox), Bison, Alpaca and Vicuna.

Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for overseeing inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, reducing waste, and optimizing storage and distribution. You’ll work closely with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to keep everything running smoothly

Key Responsibilities:

Keeping track, fulfill and packing orders received from online sales, wholesale and retail customers
Manage and control inventory between 3 physical stores and online
Maintain accurate records using excel, retail program and quickboooks
Monitor stock levels and reoder store supplies as needed
Conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies
Forecast demand and plan for seasonal fluctuations
Generate detailed inventory reports for management
Mantain a clean and organized workstation
Must communicate with wholesale accounts to find out if there are new products.
Requirements:

Must be capable of handling continuous physical work, including; bending, pushing, pulling and lifting weight up to 30lbs (on shipment days)
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Proven experience in inventory management and have proficiency in inventory software
Excellent attention to detail
Full time, day shifts, weekday shifts and weekend shifts required. Shifts are scheduled a week in advance (Schedule week begins on Friday)
Immediate start preferred, with full-time availability but will also consider part-time to start training
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, self-starter
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
Experience with programs including Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks is a bonus, plus familiar with retail computer systems
