Town of Banff 110 Bear St, Banff, AB Part-time, Full-time Town of Banff 110 Bear St, Banff, AB Job details Job type Part-time Full-time Location 110 Bear St, Banff, AB Full job description Full-Time, Term Contributing to the health and well-being of adults and older adults, you “Take Care of Banff” by providing services to clients in their homes that will help support them to live independently at home and in their community longer. Your previous experience has prepared you to help clients connect to programs and services that will decrease social isolation and contribute to their health and wellbeing. This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, flexible, responsive and caring. The position responsibilities include: Providing information and referral services to older adults and their families. Provide support, companionship and home visitation to 10-30 older adults on a monthly basis. Identifying, monitoring and reporting client needs to the Seniors Support Coordinator. Providing light housekeeping services; clean dishes, laundry, wipe counters, vacuuming, meal preparation, garbage and & recycling removal. Ideally you have a high school education and/or post-secondary diploma/certificate in human services, with experience working as a cleaner and with older adults. You have effective oral and written communication skills. Your people skills are more valued than your cleaning skills in this position. You will be required to provide confirmation of current First Aid certification and an RCMP criminal background check with vulnerable sector clearance upon hire. You have your own reliable vehicle with a clean driver’s abstract and insurance. Working safely is a condition of employment at the Town of Banff.
