JOB DESCRIPTION - F&B OPERATIONS MANAGER

Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional guest experiences through efficient management, superior service, and high-quality food and beverage offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, a passion for the food and beverage industry, and a proven track record in managing high-volume operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and cafes.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and resort policies.
Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff.
Develop schedules and manage labor costs within budget.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and professional development.
Guest Experience:
Ensure exceptional guest service by monitoring and enhancing the dining experience.
Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
Implement and maintain high standards of hospitality and service.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability.
Implement strategies to increase revenue and optimize sales.
Menu Development:
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to create and update menus.
Ensure menus are appealing, cost-effective, and cater to diverse guest preferences.
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative food and beverage offerings.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory management of food and beverage supplies.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Implement cost-control measures and reduce waste.
Event Management:
Plan and execute food and beverage services for special events, functions, and catering services.
Coordinate with other resort departments to ensure seamless event operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a resort or high-volume setting.
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
