What can you expect?
The Sunshine Village Daycare is a drop-in center licensed for up to 45 children aged 19 months to 6 years. The Daycare has an excellent reputation and is therefore a busy, fun and dynamic place to work. This position reports directly to the Director of Snow Sports. This position oversees all day-to-day operations of the Daycare to ensure a safe, fun and constructive environment and is responsible for the successful operation of all our Daycare based Ski School Programs.

This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy:
Overseeing all day-to-day operations of the Daycare and associated ski lesson programs.
Co-ordinating and supervising ski lessons in the 3–5-year-old program.
Ensuring that the Daycare facility is clean, neat and orderly at all times.
Engaging with parents to ensure that first and last impressions are the very best.
Interacting and engaging with the children in a range of activities and educational experiences.
Ensuring the Daycare and Tiny Tigers programs operate according to budget where revenues, labour costs and operating expenses are concerned.
Ensuring that financial and booking transactions are accurate, balanced and complete.
Hiring, training, coaching and managing Daycare staff and ensuring that they stay animated and engaged.
Providing leadership to Instructors in the Tiny Tigers lesson program.
Managing snow around the Daycare entrance, exterior, the learning slope and the conveyor lift.
Administrative tasks include making purchases, setting up programs, managing payroll, daily receipts, guest and personnel files and keeping reports up to date.
Performing ongoing coaching for staff members and disciplinary action when required.
Ensuring that the Daycare meets both governmental and company standards.
Other duties as assigned.
And you have:
The Successful Candidate must have a minimum 3 years related experience in addition to:
Holds a level three certification in Early Childhood Education
Past experience working with 3 to 5 years old children in a childcare setting
Proven experience managing a group of up to 10 Staff
Infant First Aid
Valid Ski Instructor Certification is an asset
