SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the full-time position of Reservations Agent to join our team for the 24/25 winter season.

Summary Description:

Reporting to the Reservations leads, the primary focus of this role is to generate sales through the booking of ski vacation packages.

The person in this role will be part of the Reservations team in our head office in downtown Banff, using their knowledge and experience to put together ski packages, answering queries, making recommendations concerning SkiBig3 season passes, resorts, products, and vacations in the beautiful Bow Valley. Full training will be provided so that team members can be confident in giving our guests the best possible experience.

The person in this role will connect with other SkiBig3 departments and resorts, (Banff Sunshine/Lake Louise Ski Resort/Mt Norquay), as well as Bow Valley and Banff Lake Louise Tourism (BLLT) members consisting of hotel, activity, and experience providers.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
Generating quotes in reservations booking system for individual ski vacation packages including lodging, lift tickets, ski rental, snow school, airport transfers, and non-skiing activities as well as season passes
Consulting with guests and tailoring custom packages to suit needs, whilst managing guest expectations
Ability to convert quotes into confirmed bookings and upsell additional products where relevant
Troubleshooting and solving any issues or concerns with guest’ travel itineraries
Follow-up phone calls for establishing status, trip details, obtaining overdue payments
Creating and administering third party activity and shuttle bookings with our partners for non-ski activities
Working with our SkiBig3 Snow School team to check availability, book private lessons and adventures for guests.
Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in a customer/guest/patient-facing role an asset
Must be passionate about skiing/snowboarding
Previous sales experience – travel/tourism industry is highly regarded
Friendly, mature, excellent guest service skills and phone-manner

Ability to independently manage own time
Extensive local knowledge including Banff Lake Louise ski resorts and Bow Valley Hotels is desirable, but not necessary as we will provide all training
Demonstrated computer skills - strong knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and ability to learn new software and systems is an asset
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to use provided resources to help troubleshoot guest issues
Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing work environments
Other Requirements:

Ability to work legally in Canada is required
Must reside in the Bow Valley
