Full job description
Cantrav is in search of a Coordinator, Sales and Program Operations to contribute to achieving the organization’s annual targets and enhance Cantrav’s reputation. Reporting to the Manager, Destination Development in Alberta, you'll collaborate with the team to craft innovative proposals and budgets primarily focused on the Rockies region, while also extending support, on an as-needed basis to the other destinations we serve. This role entails supporting in the development of creative program concepts, logistics, budgeting, product development, and supplier relations, all while ensuring effective time management and communication with partners, suppliers, and clients.

The responsibilities of the role include assisting with sales activities to expand market share, identify leads, and engaging with industry stakeholders such as DMOs and hotels. This role also involves coordinating client visits, presentations and proposals, formatting manifests, booking activities and venues, and assisting onsite as needed during event operations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

· You’re a great communicator and possess the ability to build long-lasting relationships

· Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to make decisions, manage logistics, multi-task, and meet project deadlines with little supervision

· Superior organization skills with great attention to detail as well as the ability to successfully manage changing priorities

· You produce high-quality work and outcomes along with a deep commitment to accuracy

· You are at home, and comfortable working on a computer, in a Microsoft environment

· Expert knowledge of the Banff and surrounding areas is an asset

· You’re a professional and everyone knows it

· Comfort and ability to work beyond 9 – 5. Our client’s events can be on the evenings and weekends and we’re there too
