Join the team at Banff’s downtown western hub and become a part of the team with Banff Trail Riders!

Banff Trail Riders is known for our horseback rides, however the first location customers see is The Trail Rider store, located in the heart of downtown Banff and our Retail/Reservations team are the representatives for the rest of the company. This position requires somebody personable to engage with the public, assist them with western wear and help promote all other horse-related activities offered by Banff Trail Riders. Horseback tours ranging from 1 hour to 6 days, carriage rides and Cowboy Cookout experiences sold via our retail team plays a crucial part for Banff Trail Riders.

Assist visitors from around the world with western wear from head to toe, gifts, carriage ride and trail ride reservations. Retail and customer service experience required. Previous experience with computer reservation systems an asset. There are seasonal and year-round positions available.

This position will require you to:

Assist visitors from around the world.
Provide in-store products (western wear).
Promote horseback and horse-drawn tours at other locations.
Assist with inventory and product placement.
Ensure targets are met.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Previous retail experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legal to work in Canada
An interest in the western lifestyle
