Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Accounting Manager. This role will play a significant part in aligning finance initiatives with functions of the business. Ideal for candidates with solid accounting expertise and strong business acumen.
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will assume the following responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight to accounting team (AR, AP, general accounting)
Assist with development and maintenance of internal reporting requirements
Implement new processes and procedures
Lead in tasks required for the preparation of monthly management reporting and forecasts
Aid in the preparation of budgets
Aid in the preparation of year-end reporting
Tax compliance and filing
Assist with commercial leasing activities
Scrutinize financial reporting
Assist the Controller with ad hoc projects
Skills and Experience:
Excellent business and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
Ability to lead and motivate teams
Advanced Excel proficiency
Minimum 3 years of finance and accounting experience
