Full Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare projected hotel revenue reports
Coordinate site inspections
Assist with tourism offices, VIP inspections and familiarization tours
Generate marketing reports from Hotel Property Management System
Attend Sales trips (Conventions/tradeshows and conferences)
Be familiar with accommodations and facilities of the hotel, the Town of Banff and Banff National Park
Process sales contracts for groups and wholesalers
Book and process payments for groups
Communicate special handling of group arrivals and special needs to the Front Office Team
Assist in the preparation of annual departmental budget; monitor departmental costs and expenses
Monitor and enforce Hotel Policies
Observe and follow established Occupational Health & Safety and emergency policies and procedures
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work with the Front Office Manager to monitor and control room management
Handle guest enquires, complaints and compliments
Be a leader and motivator to all employees
Be knowledgeable of the Hotel Property Management System and computer systems
