Rocky Mountain Concierge Building Maintenance Worker

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day

Salary: $16.00 Hourly for 44 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Banff / Canmore, Alberta (1 vacancy) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Not applicable, Not required
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Work Setting: Apartment/condominium complex, Office building, Commercial building, Recreational Facility, Resort
Specific Maintenance Activities: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors, Empty waste containers, Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings, Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures, Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on appliances, Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, Paint, Repair drywall, Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs, Work with minimal supervision
Office/Administration activities: Perform safety and security checks
Equipment Operated/Used: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Carpet cleaning machines, Polishing machines, Waxing machines, Steam cleaners, Power tools, Power lawn mowers, Snowblowers, Swimming pool maintenance and cleaning equipment
Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver's licence
Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available
