Love being outside and don’t mind the cold? Our Groundskeepers help keep the exterior grounds of our 16 hotels and staff accommodation properties in Banff, Canmore, and Lake Louise safe, accessible, and looking great throughout the winter. This is a hands-on, physical role that takes place outdoors in snowy and cold conditions — if you enjoy staying active and working outside, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
Shovelling snow and clearing walkways, entrances, and common areas
Salting and sanding paths to keep guests and staff safe
Keeping an eye on outdoor areas and taking care of snow and ice as needed
Sweeping and tidying exterior spaces during winter conditions
Picking up litter around hotel exteriors and staff accommodation areas
Helping out with winter maintenance tasks across multiple properties
Pitching in with other groundskeeping duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
Someone who’s physically fit and happy doing hands-on outdoor work
Comfortable working outside in cold, snowy weather — winter is the job!
Reliable, motivated, and takes pride in a job well done
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
A valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence (or equivalent) is a big plus

This is a seasonal winter position, with the chance to stay on for the summer season for the right person.
