We are seeking a line cook to join our dynamic team. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious dishes to perfection, ensuring consistent quality and taste.

Shifts: Full-time permanent. Weekdays, weekends and, evenings.
Wage: $18 - $20
Travel: We offer transportation (both ways) with picks ups at Crowfoot LRT station (Calgary) & Petro Canada (Cochrane) OR a monthly Roam bus pass (Banff).

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items consistently according to established recipes, prep lists, and plating standards
Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station before, during, and after service
Work efficiently during service while maintaining food quality, presentation, and speed
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health & safety procedures at all times
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area throughout the shift
Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
Assist with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties as required
Use kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Respond appropriately to emergency or safety situations in line with hotel procedures
Support a positive, respectful, and professional kitchen environment
Perform other related duties as assigned by kitchen leadership
Skills and Experience

Experience/Ability to do the following:
Forward bend, squat, forward reach to retrieve items from cabinets
Repetitive forward bend of head/neck
Lifting through height of 6" to 5'(squatting or forward bend) from dolly to refrigerator shelves
Carrying boxes/bags of food a distance of 10 feet
Shoulder motions below 90 degrees shoulder flexion
Gross grasp to hold tongs, spoons
Repetitive elbow motion in mid-range for chopping
Repetitive wrist motions through partial range for stirring and chopping
Lift boxes of 50 lbs.
Lift pots of food: 25-50 lbs.
Stir food: 5-10 lbs. of force may be needed to stir thicker consistency foods such as mashed potatoes.
Requirements
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Previous experience in a line cook position.
Strong organizational skills.
High level of creativity and quality standards.
Working knowledge of kitchen equipment.
