Front Desk / Server – Storm Mountain Lodge

Location: Banff National Park (Highway 93 South)
Job Type: Full-Time

About Us:
Storm Mountain Lodge is a historic, boutique cabin resort known for exceptional guest service and one of the top-rated dining experiences in the Rockies. We are a small, hands-on team working in a stunning remote setting between Banff and Lake Louise.

Job Description:

This is a dual-role position: approx. 50% Front Desk and 50% Serving. You’ll welcome guests, manage check-ins, assist with reservations, and also provide warm, attentive service in our intimate dining room. Perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a small-team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk (Guest Services):

Greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, and process payments
Manage reservations and guest communication (email, phone, messaging)
Use Cloudbeds PMS to update bookings and daily reports
Provide local information (hikes, conditions, attractions)
Assist with small retail sales in our gift shop
Restaurant Service:

Deliver professional, friendly food & beverage service
Take orders, run food, and handle payments using Lightspeed POS
Set up and reset the dining room
Learn menus, daily features, and allergen details
General Lodge Support:

Help maintain a clean, welcoming lodge environment
Pitch in as needed—small team culture
Occasional light duties such as delivering amenities or assisting during busy periods
Qualifications

Experience in hospitality (front desk or serving) preferred
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Comfortable with digital tools (PMS/POS systems)
Positive, guest-first attitude
Serving It Right or equivalent certification required
