We provide scheduled shuttle service to visitors and residents looking to explore Lake Louise & Moraine Lake in summer. We are a fast-growing local-owned company with an all-star team, looking for people who are ambitious and get after it. We are looking for people who have a genuine appreciation for the Canadian Rockies, driving on scenic mountain roads, and sharing in the enthusiasm of guests from around the world. You love safely operating vehicles, enjoy working independently, are committed to treating customers with respect, tact, and diplomacy, and aren’t turned off by driving the same (beautiful) route all summer. Moraine Lake Bus Company is Banff’s only member of the Alberta Living Wage Network. Position Summary Minibus driver guides play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of a 24-passenger minibus. Their responsibilities include adhering to timely route schedules, managing ticket sales, and engaging with guests to share information about Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, and the Canadian Rockies. Responsibilities: Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers by conducting thorough pre-trip inspections and maintaining attentiveness while driving Deliver outstanding customer service by being warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming to all guests Efficiently follow the scheduled itinerary Competently operate all electronic technology applications on the bus Attend all training sessions and staff meetings as required Maintain and keep minibus clean during shift Perform any additional related tasks as necessary Experience: Alberta Class 4 Operator's License or willingness to obtain Previous driving experience considered an asset Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English Customer service focused with an ability to work professionally with the public Knowledge of the Bow Valley and Banff/Jasper National Parks considered an asset Ability to handle stressful situations in a composed manner A genuine appreciation for the Canadian Rockies, driving on scenic mountain highways, and sharing in the enthusiasm of guests from around the world Ability to handle cash, operate payment systems, and manage scheduling software Other Requirements, Conditions: Minimum 22 years of age Must have reliable transportation to and from Lake Louise Driver’s license in good standing Clean driving abstract Must be able to legally work in Canada. Must be able to pass criminal record check Must be able to work a schedule which includes evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, and some early morning Compensation & Benefits: $30.00 per hour $2.00/hour retention bonus $85/day sunrise bonus (for all shifts beginning before 6AM) Substantial customer review bonuses 100% of your gratuities Flexible Scheduling 3-day, 4-day or 5-day work week Up to 44 hours/week Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Contract length: 5 months Pay: From $32.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Application question(s): Do you have a valid work visa in Canada?
