We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll own key accounting processes, support month-end and year-end close, and provide guidance to the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial records. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Supervisor will be a key member of the accounting team and will assist in the following responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring transactions are accurate and complete
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and budget preparation
Identify opportunities improve processes and provide guidance to junior team members
Support the Controller with special projects, audits, and reporting as needed
Qualifications:
Solid understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel skills required)
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Previous experience with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, Sage) is an asset
Internship or previous work experience in an accounting role is a plus
