Job Description

STOCK Food & Drink is searching for a creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual. As the Restaurant Manager you will provide vision and leadership that fosters an engaged team and ensures quality, efficiency and superior service. This position will be responsible for the effective and efficient day to day operation of Stock Food and Drink as well as the Pool Bar, Sugar Shack & 13 Below.

Competitive Salary: $62,000 - $65,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education.

Job Duties Include:

Recruit, mentor, and develop both full-time and part-time colleagues while leading, coaching, and inspiring a dynamic team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Manage daily operations for STOCK Food & Drink, Pool Bar, Sugar Shack, and 13 Below, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to Fairmont standards.
Maintain budgeted profitability levels through forecasting, managing reservations, optimizing revenues, and controlling inventory and payroll.
Uphold a strong floor presence to address guest concerns promptly and professionally, while continuously improving service quality.
Develop innovative revenue-generating ideas, contribute to menu development, manage wine programs, and collaborate with the Conference Services team for group events.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum two years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management and hold "Proserve"
Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs and Silverware.
Post secondary degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management and WSET Level II required and Level III will be considered an asset
Creative and effective leader and team player, possessing a high degree of professionalism, sound human resources management principles, communication, administrative skills, ambition, drive, energy, and determination
Proven track record of strong financial and cost control knowledge and applications are required
Results oriented with the ability to be flexible, work well under pressure and be accountable to make sound thoughtful business decisions
