Sales & Reservation Agent

Moraine Lake Bus Company is adding a Reservations/Sales Agent to our summer team. We provide scheduled bus service to visitors looking to explore Lake Louise & Moraine Lake in summer. We are a fast-growing local-owned company with an all-star team, looking for people who are ambitious and get after it.

Moraine Lake Bus Company is a member of the Alberta Living Wage Network.

You are enthusiastic and highly organized, and have an intimate knowledge of Banff, Lake Louise & Moraine Lake. This role works some shifts at our store in Lake Louise Village, some shifts at our ticket booth at Lake Louise Ski Area, and some shifts are WFH.

This is a fast-paced job at a small business, and all our staff work closely on many different parts of the job, and all wear many hats. You report directly to the reservations manager, but will work closely with the operations team to ensure shuttles are leaving frequently and full.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Advise guests on shuttles, make reservations and receive payments within our booking system.
Deliver outstanding customer service by being warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming to all guests over phone, email and in-person.
When working on-site at our departure point, you meet guests and help them check-in, and sell shuttle tickets to new guests who are arriving.
Assist guests with making recommendations and designing 1-day itineraries
Requirements

Very strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Live in the Bow Valley
Knowledge of Banff National Park and an understanding of the dynamic at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work weekends & holidays
Computer knowledge/skills (Intermediate)
Class 4 driver licence an asset
Must have reliable transportation to and from Lake Louise
Job type: Seasonal

Wage: $30/hour + $3/hour retention bonus + Employee Share Ownership Plan
