Job Description

Are you ready to take guest service to the next level? At Fairmont Banff Springs, we’re seeking a dedicated Fairmont Gold Supervisor to join our elite team. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests experience exceptional service and unforgettable stays in our luxurious “hotel within a hotel.”

Starting Rate: $23.67 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.08.

Job Duties Include:

Deliver exceptional, personalized service by addressing guest requests, curating memorable experiences, and ensuring seamless arrival and departure processes, especially for VIPs.
Perform front desk duties such as check-ins/outs, posting charges, auditing, and ensuring all Fairmont Gold reservations meet accuracy and quality standards.
Provide guests with detailed information about local attractions, events, and services, and assist Lounge Attendants with food and beverage service when needed.
Empower colleagues to resolve guest service challenges, ensure all issues are tracked and followed up on, and maintain department standards in line with Fairmont's core values.
Uphold a safe environment by adhering to Health and Safety policies, actively participate in emergency procedures, and support a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 1 years previous Front Desk supervisory experience in a Large Hotel preferred
Excellent knowledge of Micros-Opera PROPERTY Manager, word and excel
Previous working experience in Royal Service and or dealing with guest recovery with excellent recovery, strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Graduate of Hotel Management or Hospitality program an asset
Highly organized, innovative and results-orientated with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast paced, changing environment
Excellent written and verbal skills with a high attention to detail required
