Banff Trail Riders is a leading horseback riding outfitter located in the heart of Banff National Park. We offer a diverse range of guided tours, from one-hour scenic rides to multi-day wilderness expeditions. Stable Supervisor

As a Stable Supervisor with Banff Trail Riders, you will be required to lead our Wranglers and trail guides caring for nearly 300 horses and mules. Assisting the guests visiting the stables and co-ordinating our team’s daily operations will be your focus. In addition to this, horses provided to the staff will need training, to various degrees, and you will be asked to help develop your team’s efficiency and enjoyment whilst working in Canada’s best National Park.

This position will require you to:

Supervise operations at various BTR locations.
Oversee up to 20 members of staff.
Maintain a high level of care for our horses (groom, saddle, fit).
Demonstrate initiative and adaptability.
Ensure all guided tours depart on schedule.
Helpto create a memorable and enjoyable summer for our team and guests alike.
Qualifications:

Proficient horseback riding experience (Western).
Previous seasonal work experience and leadership experience is preferred.
Strong customer service experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
An interest in the Western lifestyle.
Valid First-Aid certificate.
This is a seasonal position that runs from late April until October.

Limited staff accommodation may be available upon request.
