We are looking for a communication specialist with up to five years of experience. If you have a degree or diploma in communications, journalism or digital media, and a passion for event management, the preparation of all types of communication collateral, social media analysis and more, we would like to hear from you.

So, what's the day-to-day look like?

Liaise with clients and their target audiences
Create content (write and edit web copy, blog stories, support video/podcast production crew)
Write speaking notes and association presentations
Lead on collateral, including but not limited to brochures, information sheets/fact sheets, case studies, briefing notes newsletters, magazines
Organize and host virtual and in-person events
Plan and support public engagement activities
Manage social media accounts and help assess their impact
Coordinate brand ambassadors
Pitch and monitor media
Measure the success of communication activities and recommend changes to programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Articulate, with great business acumen and an appreciation for process design

Client focused and an active listener with the ability to deliver multiple projects with a focus on quality and timelines
Self-motivated, yet know when peer review and internal collaboration will lead to a better product
Up-to-date on industry trends and understanding of new approaches that can make communications more effective
Accreditation or membership in IABC and CPRS is considered an asset.
