Night Onigiri Maker (PART-TIME)

Yama Onigiri is seeking a reliable Night Onigiri Maker to join our evening production team. This shift runs from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with occasional extensions of 30–60 minutes depending on production needs.

This is an ideal second job or late-shift position. The café is closed during these hours, so there is no customer service involved—just focused kitchen production in a calm, structured environment.

Wage: $18.00/hour
Hours: 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Schedule: 3–5 shifts per week
Employment Period: March 1 – October 31

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and shape onigiri according to Yama Onigiri standards
Follow precise portioning, food safety, and quality control procedures
Work alongside one team member responsible for wrapping and dish support
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
Qualifications:

Kitchen experience is an asset
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Reliable with solid time management skills
While prior kitchen experience is preferred, the Yama Onigiri team is willing to train and develop the right candidate. This role offers growth potential for individuals who demonstrate leadership qualities and may eventually supervise future night production teams.
