2026 Spring & Summer Hiring

Yama Onigiri is a Japanese-style onigiri café that values freshness, craftsmanship, and heartfelt hospitality. Part-Time Host & Server MORNING (2 Positions Available)

Wage: $17 + tips
Hours: 10–20 hours per week (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM)
Employment Period: April 1 – October 31

Key Responsibilities

Warmly welcoming guests and creating a comfortable experience
Taking orders using the POS system
Preparing drinks (coffee, matcha, ice cream, alcoholic beverages)
Cleaning tables and maintaining the dining area
Supporting kitchen operations during busy periods (e.g., dishwashing)
Qualifications

Previous Server or Customer service experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and product consistency
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Legally eligible to work in Canada
