About Us

SunDog Transportation and Tours has been proudly sharing the beauty of the Canadian Rockies with guests from around the world for over 25 years. Based in Jasper National Park, we specialize in sightseeing tours, scheduled shuttle services, and private charters throughout the region.

We are currently looking for Driver & Tour Guides based in Calgary, AB, to work in Banff National Park to join our team on a seasonal full time schedule.

Job Description

Leading engaging, educational sightseeing tours to some of the most spectacular locations within Banff and Yoho National Parks. Sharing information on wildlife, local history and geology, while providing excellent client care.

What You'll Do

Safely operate a variety of fleet vehicles including , mini-buses, vans, and SUVs
Deliver fun, safe, and informative sightseeing tours in the Canadian Rockies
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete digital logs
Share stories and facts about local history, wildlife, and landmarks
Ensure excellent guest experience from pick-up to drop-off
Keep to scheduled itineraries while remaining flexible with guest needs
Handle questions and concerns professionally
Communicate effectively with Dispatch and Operations teams
Qualifications

Valid Class 4 Alberta driver’s license (or equivalent) with a clean driver’s abstract
Previous experience in tour guiding, bus driving, or customer service is preferred
Strong public speaking and storytelling abilities
Ability to lift luggage up to 50 lbs
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
English proficiency required; multilingualism is an asset
IGA, ACMG, or interpretive guide certifications are a bonus
