As a young and growing firm, we are looking for someone who is adaptable, motivated, and ready to contribute to our shared success. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for the legal field, and the ability to work independently in a flexible and adaptable setting. This role involves assisting lawyers with various tasks, ensuring all legal documentation is handled efficiently, accurately, and with respect for the needs of our rural clientele.

Key Duties

Conduct legal research to gather relevant information for cases, with a focus on practical, client-centered solutions.
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, wills, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Maintain organized files and records, ensuring documentation is up to date and accessible across digital platforms.
Manage case calendars and deadlines, scheduling appointments, coordinating house calls, and preparing for client meetings.
Provide administrative support by responding to firm emails, and triaging tasks for the firm based on urgency/importance.
Provide clerical support by answering phone calls with professionalism, maintaining effective phone etiquette, and ensuring clear communication with clients.
Assist in project management by tracking case progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks to meet client and firm needs.
Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses, often in rural settings or through digital platforms, to gather necessary information for cases.
Collaborate with the legal team to prepare for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
Who We’re Looking For

At Frontier Law Group LLP, we value individuals who are:

Proficient in administrative tasks, with experience in a law firm or legal environment preferred.
Familiar with document management systems and adaptable to using digital platforms to facilitate client interactions.
Strong in research and writing skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks effectively, and capable of maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Proactive in problem-solving, comfortable with a high degree of autonomy, and able to adapt to flexible and changing environments.
Motivated by the opportunity to grow with the firm and willing to take on new challenges.
Compensation and Benefits

The pay scale is designed to attract driven individuals, with compensation reflecting both ability and contribution.
The assistant's time will be billed at an hourly rate, either for general administrative tasks or directly to client files.
Opportunities to earn additional income through commissions or tariffs for retaining paying clients or completing specific work (e.g., conveyances or wills).
Remote work environment offering a high degree of flexibility, making this role ideal for someone seeking work-life balance while contributing meaningfully to the firm’s success.
