Full job description
Big Bear Trading Company is looking for a detail-oriented retail enthusiast to join our store in Banff this summer! Our Stock Supervisor oversees the distribution and organization of our merchandise while fostering our core values of Passion, Teamwork, Integrity, and Excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

Merchandise Receiving: Ensure merchandise is received accurately and in line with established policies.
Documentation Compliance: Ensure all required documentation is properly completed when receiving goods to maintain accurate records.
Stockroom Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom, ensuring easy access to merchandise.
Team Leadership: Train, guide, and coach a team of 2 Stock Associates, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective teamwork.
Daily Restocking: Re-stock the store floor each day to ensure product availability and an inviting shopping experience.

We'll be looking for the following qualifications:

Previous experience in stocking, receiving, inventory management, or retail operations.
Experience leading and supervising a small team.
A passion for efficiency and process improvement.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
The ability to adapt quickly to new systems and workflows.
Enthusiasm for outdoor apparel and life in the Rocky Mountains.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Reliable transportation and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
