Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support Accounts Payable operations with a focus on controls, vendor management, reconciliations, and process improvements. This role involves overseeing payment activities, ensuring accurate financial coding, supporting month-end activities, and helping maintain strong internal controls across AP processes. The position works cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and other teams to resolve issues, improve workflows, and support system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Support payment processes and vendor account management
Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Review and validate financial coding and transactions
Maintain and monitor AP-related controls and reporting
Support month-end close and accrual activities
Assist with system administration and process improvements
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues
Provide general support for accounting and payment-related activities
Responsibilities

5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or accounting operations
Completed Diploma or Bachelor's degree is preferred
Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, and controls
Experience working with financial systems or ERPs (NetSuite is desired)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Strong communication and organizational skills
