Competitive Salary:

$46,000 to $50,000 gross annually, based on previous experience and education.


Job Description

Orientation & Department Operations:

Welcome new employees and present the New Employee Orientation, updating materials as required.
Assist new hires in completing pre-start activities in Dayforce and troubleshoot as needed.
Communicate arrival dates, check-in details, and housing requirements to relevant departments.
Collect and maintain all required paperwork and documentation for employee files, ensuring completeness.
Enroll new employees in the time clock system and assign appropriate roles and managers in Dayforce.
Distribute and replace as needed employment-related items including nametags, key fobs, staff IDs, bus passes, employee letters, parking passes, padlocks, and meal cards.
Generate and distribute the weekly arrivals and departures report.
Coordinate venue bookings and setup for training and orientation sessions.
Maintain up-to-date employee files by organizing and archiving records accordingly.
Conduct monthly health and safety inspections for the Talent & Culture department and participate in Health & Safety Committee meetings.
Manage office supply orders for the Talent & Culture department.
Update Hotel phone list monthly and distribute to all departments
Create gym membership cards for the Spa.
Provide general administrative support to the Talent & Culture team.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Recruiting:

Monitor and respond to inquiries in the Recruitment email inbox, ensuring timely communication with candidates.
Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager with job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
Track applicant progress and maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
Support the reference and background check process as needed.
Employee Engagement & Communication:

Assist in organizing and executing employee engagement events, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.
Prepare and post monthly event and birthday calendars in staff areas.
Maintain bulletin boards and internal communication channels to ensure employees are informed of upcoming activities and company updates.
Support the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Qualifications
Previous administrative or coordinator experience, preferably in Human Resources or Hospitality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems (such as Dayforce) is an asset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Able to work productively in an environment that experiences frequent interruptions
Emotionally mature with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Passion for creating a positive workplace culture and enhancing the employee experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
