Reservations Sales AgentPosition based in Banff, Alberta (Store Based Role – Sundance Mall)

Our in-house training will equip you with the skills to confidently recommend and sell tours, activities, and retail products while providing top-tier customer service.

Term

This is a seasonal position starting early April until mid-October.

Requirements

Experience in the travel/tourism industry
Experience in reservations, sales, and/or retail preferred but not essential
Strong sales and upselling skills with a customer-first approach
Knowledge of the local area and key attractions
Basic computer knowledge/skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, enthusiastic, and results-driven personality
Able to work both in a team and independently
Ability to handle complaints and turn service challenges into positive experiences
A Sample of Daily Tasks

Sell and upsell sightseeing and activity tours through in-person, phone, and email interactions.
Maximize sales opportunities by identifying customer needs and recommending the best tours, activities, and retail products.
Provide expert advice on local attractions, experiences, and tour options to enhance the guest experience.
Actively promote package deals, upgrades, and exclusive offers to increase revenue and guest satisfaction.
Perform cash-out procedures accurately while tracking sales performance.
Liaise with operations, guides, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Negotiate with third-party tour companies and suppliers to secure the best options for guests when needed.
Maintain an inviting store environment by keeping retail stock and tour information well-organized and visually appealing.
Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Support the team with additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.
