What will be your daily pursuit?:

What will you do in this job?:
Greet guests in a welcoming and enthusiastic manner
Acts as an ambassador of the Hotel and the National Park offering guests information about hotel history, available services, points of interest in the surrounding area, and entertainment options
Register and assign rooms to guests, maintaining knowledge of availability for walk-in guests
Communicate with housekeeping, bell, and maintenance departments to update the status of room readiness, arrivals, and departures
Assists guests with elevator, and luggage as needed
Completes night audit and reports via Maestro PMS
Diligently tracks, checks and records all daily transactions including cash, debit, credit, and room charges
Effectively resolves/balances any discrepancies found within night audit process and reports any findings to Front Office Manager
Acts as additional security for the hotel and our guests
Acts as liaison between hotel management and guests to communicate, and respond appropriately in emergency situations and incident reporting
Listen to guest concerns and resolve issues to the best of your ability
Assists with cleaning, sanitization, and organization of the front office/lobby to prepare for each day
Handles telephone and email communication including reservations, inquiries, disputes, and handovers between guests and front office team
Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to appropriate departments
Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed
A utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
Perform other duties as requested by management
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Previous Front Desk experience strongly preferred
Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
Willing and able to work solo or as a part of a larger team
