Full job description
Job Summary:

Mount Norquay Ski Resort in Banff National Park is looking for a full-time Building Maintenance worker. The ideal candidate will have some background in plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, grounds keeping and general laboring. This position will be a great fit for someone who is interested in expanding their knowledge and working in a very diverse environment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

A general knowledge of all trades would be beneficial for this position

The duties of this position include but are not limited to:

-Maintaining all buildings inside and out

-HVAC

-Electrical

-Fresh water treatment

-Plumbing

-Carpentry

-Metal Work

-Painting

This job will have you working inside and outside, with a skilled and diverse maintenance team. The successful applicant will be required to ride snowmobiles, operate ATVs, as well as some heavy equipment.

Qualifications:

· Ideal candidate will have experience in a varied maintenance position

· Valid driver’s license and own vehicle

· Trade certificate considered an asset

· Having your own tools is an asset, but not a necessity

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

· Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions

· Comfortable working at heights

· Comfortable working in confined spaces

· Capable of lifting 50 lbs
