Welcome! Banff Park Lodge Collection operates 3 hotel properties - Banff Park Lodge, Bow View Lodge, and Peaks Hotel & Suites. We also operate 2 restaurants - La Terrazza and Crave Mountain Grill. Staff and guests can enjoy our ideal location, close to lively downtown Banff on one side and the peaceful Bow River pathway on the other.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner to create a positive first impression.
Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring smooth and efficient flow of guests in the restaurant.
Assist guests with seating preferences, ensuring comfort and accommodating special requests when possible.
Maintain a full knowledge of restaurant menus, special promotions, and hotel amenities to provide guests with accurate information.
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
Assist with coordinating in-room dining orders and ensure timely delivery to guest rooms.
Demonstrate a complete understanding of restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
Ensure the entrance and waiting areas are clean, organized, and inviting for guests.
Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate to management if necessary.
Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
Follow safety, security, and sanitation procedures at all times, especially when handling food and beverages.
Follow the hotel's telephone etiquette standards.
Remain on your feet for extended periods, occasionally lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs., and frequently bending, kneeling, and standing.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is an asset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism.
Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a positive team player.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Proficient in the English language; knowledge of a second language is a plus.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle multiple guest needs simultaneously.
Must be flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
