What will be your daily pursuit?:
As the General Manager of the Banff Gondola, you will lead with purpose - inspiring teams to pursue excellence, elevate guest experiences, and drive growth as a world-class destination.

What will you do in this job?:
Inspire teams to elevate experiences to a top, world attraction.
Champion the relentless pursuit of excellence across all KPI’s.
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and experience excellence.
Plan and present annual operating plans and budgets.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to achieve financial and operational goals.
Establish clear goals and expectations so that leaders go beyond and deliver outcomes.
Train, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team with a growth mindset.
Drive an exceptional workplace culture that is driven to go beyond, delighting our guests, partners and each other.
Monitor outcomes and inspect operations to ensure outcomes and continuous improvement.
Ensure seamless and connected operations across all departments, including F&B, retail, events, lift operations, guest experience, maintenance and transportation.
Oversee safety protocols, risk management, and emergency response preparedness.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, revenue management, and programming to enhance revenue streams and optimize guest experience.
Execute capital projects and maintain infrastructure at a high level, within budget and timelines.
Champion sustainability and community-focused initiatives aligned with Pursuit’s values.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers, inspectors, government regulatory bodies, local organizations, and pursuit teams.
Become a model operator in national parks.
Engage in long range planning and strategic planning efforts aligned with company vision.

10+ years in senior leadership roles within attractions, tourism, or hospitality industries.
Experience managing large, multi-faceted operations, including F&B, retail, events, and infrastructure.
Strong background in hospitality excellence, team development, guest experience transformation, and business growth.
Expertise in budgeting, P&L management, and capital planning and execution.
Familiarity with regulated environments such as national parks, ski resorts, or government agencies.
