A key member of the Sales & Marketing Department, the Revenue Analyst will collaborate with the Revenue Team to optimize rates, inventory, and revenue strategies across a portfolio of 16 hotel properties. Our Revenue Analyst plays a pivotal part in driving revenue growth through effective rate management and inventory control, contributing to the overall profitability of the organization.

The Revenue Analyst requires strong data analysis skills, experience with hotel property management systems, and has a solid understanding of how analytics can impact sales. This dynamic role requires effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Revenue & Sales to manage daily room and rate availability to maximize occupancy, ADR, and room revenue.
Track and analyze key performance metrics using property management systems (PMS) and data analysis tools.
Perform system maintenance tasks, including rate loading, restrictions management, and demand monitoring.
Produce and maintain revenue management reports for the Revenue and Sales teams.
Ensure accuracy of revenue-related data and reports, enhancing automation where possible.
Communicate effectively with the reservations team to keep the call center updated on rate strategies and promotions.
Act as a system expert in revenue management platforms and distribution channels and assist in identifying and resolving operational issues.
Support special projects focused on uncovering new revenue opportunities.
Additional duties may be assigned to help meet business needs.
Skills and Experience:
Superior analytical skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and explain statistical data
High level of motivation, determination and commitment
Ability to work under independent initiative to prioritizing between revenue generating actions and time-consuming tasks
Able to work well with team members across different departments
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technology, processes, and programs.
Minimum 2 year of professional experience in an analytical or revenue-focused role
Experience within the hotel and tourism industry preferred
Highly computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office tools, with high proficiency in Excel
Strong mathematical comprehension
Experience with PMS systems, IDeaS G3 and Travelclick iHotelier an asset.
