Join our vibrant Employee Housing team, where every day brings something new! As our Employee Housing Assistant, you'll be at the heart of creating a welcoming and supportive living environment for our employees. From coordinating arrivals and departures to ensuring a smooth day-to-day experience, you’ll play a key role in making employee housing feel like home. This position is full time, year-round and is based from our Employee Housing Office located in Banff.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and oversee all employee housing units and buildings to BCP standards by conducting routine inspections and reporting issues for preventative maintenance.
Assist with administrative tasks, including move-ins, move-outs, payroll, and contracts.
Conduct weekly housing inspections, including general and deep cleaning as needed.
Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, smoke detectors, and unclogging sinks.
Assist with receiving and distributing new furniture and housing supplies.
Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for staff and residents.
Develop, implement, and maintain schedules and procedures for cleaning, safety inspections, and preventative maintenance programs.
Follow all health and safety policies, report any hazards or injuries immediately, and maintain a safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with residents and BCP department heads to address housing needs.
Take on additional tasks as needed to support tenant and business operations.
Skills and Experience:
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
High standards for cleanliness and the ability to maintain them.
Consistency in following procedures and ensuring fairness.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a diplomatic and professional approach.
A mature and approachable demeanor, with the ability to foster a positive and respectful living environment for employees.
Self-motivated and hands-on, with strong time management and project prioritization skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
A valid Alberta driver’s license is required.
A good sense of humor and a team-oriented attitude.
