JOB DESCRIPTION:

E-Commerce Manager

Monod Sports is an independent retailer located in Banff, showcasing the finest in mountain sports equipment and clothing. Our website is ready for the next transformation, and we are seeking an
E-Commerce Manager to lead our web and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Ongoing management and development of our e-commerce business and website.
Increase online sales on our website while promoting and enhancing Monod’s overall brand image.
Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day business of the e-commerce website.
Improve website functionality.
Work together with the in-house marketing team, buying and accounting personnel to provide insight and feedback as to the needs of the e-commerce department.
Work and coordinate with any outside providers of marketing, IT, graphic design, and web development.
Job Description:

Improve and develop new strategies for website sales conversions and customer visits.
Oversee marketing activities
Oversee daily web order fulfilment and shipping.
Analyze website traffic data, such as email clicks, search engine optimization, cost-per-click, social media, etc. and use this information to make recommendations for developing additional web site traffic and sales.
Ensure consistent and accurate digital content on the website, product updates, pricing, etc.
Work with our buyers and managers on co-op marketing campaigns and monitor the performance of any online marketing campaigns and promotions.
Lead the day-to-day web operational team in delivering a high-quality online shopping experience.
Ensure the policies and procedures of our e-commerce program are enforced and updated.
Manage website payment and delivery options.
Oversee the accurate product information and content on the website (copy and artwork).
Trouble shoot any operational or technical issues affecting the website.
Qualifications:

A complete understanding of web technologies (FTP, browsers, HTML, CSS, data files) .
3+ years of related e-commerce experience.
Previous experience with e-commerce CMS (preferably Magento).
Understanding of basic marketing concepts and practices.
Expert understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools and Analytics.
Familiar with data management.
Experience with managing a small team, and willingness to work with a larger team for decision-making, planning, and problem-solving.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to provide a customer-first experience.
Available to work a 40 hours per week during regular business hours.
Available to work at peak times of the year including holidays and weekends.
