This role requires extended periods of time on your feet, working under pressure, and exceptional attention to detail.

This position is a seasonal contract, however, opportunities for growth are always available for the right individual. This role is perfect for someone who wants to add to their income and/or skillset with a side job.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Each event week you will be attending a Jacqueline Rae team overview meeting to review the wedding day schedule and setup and strike requirements.

Décor set up from approximately 9:00 am-2:00 pm. Set-up may include:

Moving and unloading décor, signage, and chairs. This involves physical work with light to medium lifting
Décor strike may be required for some events on the evening of the event from 11:00 pm-2:00 am

Packing all décor carefully and preparing rental items for pickup. This includes removing all décor, linens, and moving furniture to a pre-determined location.
Qualifications:

You are organized, structured, and goal-oriented
You work well under pressure
You are a quick learner and enjoy problem-solving
You have a strong work ethic and the desire to deliver superior customer service
Previous experience in the weddings or event and hospitality industry is an asset
Requirements:

Must be available to work a highly variable schedule including daytime, late evenings, weekends and some holidays based on event schedules
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Must have access to a computer, email, and cellular phone
Must have reliable transportation
Compensation:
Based on experience, with an hourly rate provided
