As our Procurement Specialist Banff Jasper Collection , you’ll play a key role in elevating guest experiences across the Rockies through smart purchasing decisions, sustainable practices, and cross-functional collaboration.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Including but not limited to:

Source high-quality ingredients and supplies for our culinary and hospitality operations
Cost Optimization: Year-over-year purchasing efficiency and demonstrated cost-avoidance initiatives
System Adoption & Efficiency: Operator engagement and accuracy of ordering and inventory systems
Source new and innovative procurement systems that provide clarity and efficiency to front line operator
Negotiate pricing and terms to deliver value while upholding quality standards
Champion local and sustainable sourcing aligned with our Rocky Mountain identity
Partner with Chefs and Hotel teams to anticipate demand and drive innovation
Improve purchasing and inventory processes to strengthen margins and reduce waste
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and consistency standards
Sourcing and Supplier Management

Maintain strategic relationships with vendors, distributors, and manufacturers
Maintain equipment and FF&E records
Identify new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate capabilities
Conduct market research to ensure competitive cost structures
Ensure adherence to food safety, compliance, and sustainability standards
Familiar with management inventory and purchasing systems Craftable, Centerviews, Avendra, Entegra
Cost Optimization and Analysis

Develop cost models and perform analysis, benchmarking, and savings projections
Identify opportunities to streamline SKUs and optimize spending
Support financial teams with procurement data and asset depreciation updates
Conduct FF&E inventories and assist in annual budget reviews
Business Development & Collaboration

Lead procurement components of RFPs/RFQs, including sourcing plans and pricing models
Partner with support services teams
Support pursuit presentations and operational evaluations
Inventory control and equipment management
Project Management

Manage procurement timelines, documentation, and deliverables for multiple projects
Track outcomes and market insights for continuous improvement
Work Environment

On-site role in office environment
Occasional travel to suppliers, facilities, or client presentations
Reports to: Sr. Director of Food and Beverage
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Degree and/or equivalent experience in Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, or related field
5–7+ years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain (F&B preferred)
Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills
Knowledge of F&B ingredients, distribution, packaging, and quality standards
Experience with RFPs or bid processes (asset)
P&L or contract-managed service experience (asset)
Detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and driven by problem-solving
Skills

Strong negotiation and supplier engagement skills
Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in data modeling and cost analysis
Knowledge of food and beverage ingredients, packaging, distribution channels, and quality standards
Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills
Proficiency in procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, Ariba, etc.) is a plus
