About the Role:

As a Sales Art Consultant, you’ll immerse yourself in a dynamic and ever-evolving gallery environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with art enthusiasts and high-net-worth (HNW) collectors, providing personalized guidance and building lasting relationships. You’ll work closely with a small, passionate team and gain hands-on experience in all facets of gallery operations.

What You’ll Do:

Sales Expertise: Use your inbound and outbound sales expertise to meet and exceed targets, creating meaningful connections with clients.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, helping clients discover and purchase art that resonates with them. Your ability to build rapport and put clients at ease will be crucial.
Negotiation and Leadership: Utilize your negotiating skills and leadership qualities to guide clients through the buying process, ensuring a smooth and satisfying experience.
Client Acquisition: Actively seek out new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones, employing creative and engaging communication strategies.
Innovative Solutions: Provide innovative solutions to customer challenges, demonstrating a keen sense of urgency and focus on bringing sales to a successful close.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members on administrative tasks, coordinate gallery shipments, manage customs documentation, and oversee transportation logistics.
Flexibility: Be ready to work evenings and weekends, embracing the dynamic nature of the gallery scene.
What We’re Looking For:

Sales Background: A background in sales, especially within the art, luxury, or high-end retail sectors, will be highly advantageous.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Google Apps, Mac OS X, MS Office, and basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop).
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a talent for engaging and captivating an audience.
Art Passion: A genuine interest in art and the ability to convey your passion to others.
