ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties, including tour check-in, ticket sales, retail sales of merchandise, operating the Point-of-Sale system and cash handling including cash-ins/outs
Prepare for tours including printing passenger manifests, preparing beverage service and cleaning/sanitizing vehicles
Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest
Welcome and inform all Open Top Touring guests; answer emails and phone calls as needed
Understand and promote all products, services and policies offered by Pursuit
Wear a unique uniform, and act as an ambassador for Open Top Touring, Pursuit, the town of Banff and Banff National Park
Be prepared for a fast-paced work environment with changing conditions
Supporting timely tour departure in line with schedule
Assist Driver Guides with guest experience before and after tours
Working in a team environment as well as independently
Be attuned to weather patterns and determine canvas roof requirements – safely removing or installing the roof as needed and securing it properly. Some overhead heavy lifting is required

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Strong customer service skills, experience is required
Sales experience and cash handling experience is an asset
Fluent in English, knowledge of a second language is an asset but not mandatory
Attention to detail and good communication skills
Organized, punctual, hardworking and driven, with conflict resolution skills and the ability to multitask
Basic computer literacy
Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
Experience in guest focus and group management
Have a positive attitude, with a dynamic, outgoing, engaging, animated and friendly personality
Adaptability and flexibility in day-to-day operations
Passion for travel and people with an interest in the tourism / hospitality sector of the Canadian Rockies
Knowledge of Canadian History, an asset but not mandatory
