What can you expect?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Food & Beverage Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This role involves overseeing the financial operations within the food and beverage department, ensuring accurate record-keeping, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall financial management of the department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for food and beverage operations.
Reconciling daily sales reports, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports and forecasts for the food and beverage department.
Monitoring inventory levels and track inventory costs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies regarding financial transactions.
Communicating with various departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.
Analyzing financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
Assisting in any ad-hoc financial projects or tasks as required by the management team.

And you have:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in food and beverage accounting or a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of food and beverage industry operations is a plus.
Knowledge of Food & Beverage Point of Sale Systems, such as Squirrel (preferred)

Working Conditions:
Full-time position.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Office environment, with some flexibility for remote work.
