Job Title: SECOND COOK

We are recruiting for (2) Second Cook positions (NOC 6322). The positions are full-time 30-40 hours per week, permanent with an hourly rate of $18.00-$19.90 . Overtime may be necessary as required paid at time and half.

Job duties:

Prepare and serve food in one of our many sections of the kitchen, including a la carte and banquets
Operate individual stations within the kitchen, under the supervision of first cooks, and/or CDP
Report to the kitchen CDP and First Cooks
Work according to menu specifications
Control food waste in your section
Follow and ensure compliance with safe food handling policies, including personal hygiene procedures
Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to leadership
Protecting company assets and ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Supporting our employee culture, speak with others using clear and professional language, listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other departments
Support your team to reach common goals, ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of commercial cooking or professional kitchen experience
Culinary management diploma and/or cooking certificate is an asset for this position
