The Recruitment Coordinator provides an outstanding experience for our candidates and internal guests, ensuring a positive experience for prospective and current employees and volunteers working at the Company’s three operational sites. This role contributes primarily to the continuous recruitment function of HR, overseeing initiatives and programs relating to recruitment and attraction of new staff, while also contributing to the daily operations of the HR department. The Recruitment Coordinator reports to the Lead Recruiter, works closely with Staff Lodges, and liaises closely with all Resort departments.

Main responsibilities:
Recruitment

Supporting Sunshine Village’s various departments with ongoing and seasonal staffing needs.
Providing professional recommendations to supervisors and managers.
Posting online advertisements, sourcing, shortlisting and interviewing candidates and completing reference checks.
Creation of offer letters. This includes hiring, distributing first-day information and organizing staff accommodation if required.
Alongside the Lead Recruiter, coordinating recruitment initiatives, hiring fairs, post-secondary and annual recruitment programs.
Responding to recruitment inquiries with company and position information
About You:
Min 2 years’ experience in recruitment or sales environments preferred.
Certification, designation or related post-secondary education in human resources, administration, recruitment and/or project management an asset.
Previous administrative experience (minimum 2 years). Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working in seasonal, recreation, and tourism-focused workplaces.
Experience working in a seasonal, recreation and tourism focused workplace with significant employee seasonal onboarding is an asset.
You enjoy using technology and are confident in testing new systems to enhance the recruitment and employee experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills, along with excellent time management and forward planning ability.
This position requires accuracy, confidentiality and an enthusiastic and welcoming approach to providing excellent service to our employees.
This role is based in either our Banff or Calgary location, with preference given to candidates available to work in Banff.
