What can you expect?
Bellperson provides an outstanding guest experience by creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment. They assist guests with their queries and provide recommendations to maximize their stay. They are responsible for the safe and efficient handling and delivery of guest luggage and equipment.

This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy:
Providing excellent guest service.
Receiving and delivering luggage/other items to and from hotel rooms; Coordinating with the Front Desk and Warehouse to ensure flow is smooth and within guaranteed times.
Storing and retrieving guest equipment from ski storage.
Efficiently answering guest inquiries regarding the area and hotel services and facilities
Removing snow from roofs and walkways.
Maintaining public areas of the hotel including the ski storage area.
Cross-training for other hotel roles such as front desk or night audit.
Participating in the operation of hotel guest activities as needed.
Other duties as assigned; including janitorial.
And you have:
Passion for providing excellent guest service.
Previous service or hotel experience; able to demonstrate excellent guest service.
English proficiency: fluent.
Exceptional interpersonal skills; reliable, a team player and able to use own initiative.
Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.
Able to complete training and testing for on-hill tracked vehicle license and snowmobile license.
Provide clean driver’s abstract and license prior to commencement of duties (Abstract cannot be any older than 30 days from start of employment); Must be able to complete training and testing for on-hill tracked vehicle and snowmobile licenses.
Ability to complete manual labor, heavy lifting, and standing for long periods of time.
Additional considerations:
Employees must always be of a sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.
Some required uniform pieces are provided. Candidates must be prepared and wear appropriate footwear, gloves, layers, etc. for the conditions of an indoor/outdoor role at a ski area.
This role is subject to all terms and conditions of the Sunshine Village Employee Handbook, Policy Manual, and the Alberta Employment Standards Code.
