The Town of Banff is seeking a dedicated and dependable Custodian to join the Facilities team. The ideal candidate will be committed to “Taking Care of Banff” by maintaining the pristine cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of our beloved spaces.

As a Facilities Custodian, you'll embark on a fulfilling journey of daily upkeep, responsible for the cleanliness of our common areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and meeting rooms. From the invigorating hum of vacuuming to the serene glide of mopping floors, no task is too small as you meticulously dust and sanitize surfaces, guaranteeing a welcoming environment for all. Additionally, you'll be the hero behind the scenes, restocking essential supplies and tackling minor maintenance tasks with ease and efficiency.

We're seeking individuals who thrive in independent work environments, boasting an eagle eye for detail and a passion for cleanliness that shines through in every task. Physical dexterity is essential, as tasks may involve lifting up to 50 lbs. and bending with ease. Your reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are invaluable traits we cherish. While prior experience in custodial or janitorial work is a bonus, your positive attitude and dedication to our community's well-being are what truly set you apart.
