Thank you for your interest in joining our team as Catering Manager! In this position you would be working day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours. The salary for this position is based on experience.

This is generally what your day-to-day would entail:

Lead and manage the Banquet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed,
Be a part of recruiting and oversee staff training,
Create staff schedules,
Provide excellent customer service and react quickly and professionally to guest concerns,
Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs,
Contribute to departmental meetings,
Review all banquet event orders to ensure proper set-ups, coffee breaks and meals are in place,
Work with the Conference Services & Catering department to ensure that revenues and guest satisfaction levels are maximized,
Ensure proper staffing and scheduling of all Banquet colleagues in accordance to productivity guidelines,
Follow all policies, procedures, and service standards,
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage,
Making weekly schedules,
Conducting payroll reports and ensuring accuracy,
Monthly inventory,
Report to Assistant Director of Food & Beverage & Director of Food & Beverage,
More as needed or assigned.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be an effective leader to your team
Must be physically cable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
