Join our passionate team of coffee enthusiasts for this Spring/Summer 2025 Season.

What will you do in this job?:
As a Starbucks Barista, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Providing exceptional customer service: Greet customers with a smile, take their orders with care, and ensure they have an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Crafting high-quality beverages: Prepare espresso drinks, drip coffee, teas, and other specialty drinks to perfection. You’ll be responsible for creating consistent and delicious drinks within each order.
Managing cash and transactions: Accurately process orders and payments, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace: Ensure all café areas are clean, tidy, and stocked, so customers always receive service in a welcoming environment.
Supporting the team: Work closely with fellow baristas to keep the café running smoothly. This includes assisting with restocking, cleaning, and other general café duties as needed.
Engaging with customers: Build rapport with frequent customers, suggest new beverages, and share your love of coffee with others.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Basic barista experience: While prior experience is a plus, it’s not required. We’re happy to train motivated individuals who are passionate about coffee and eager to learn.
Customer service skills: A friendly and approachable demeanor, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide a high level of service.
Attention to detail: Precision in brewing, making drinks, and ensuring customer orders are accurate.
Multitasking ability: The café can get busy, so the ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple tasks at once is essential.
Teamwork: You’ll be working closely with other baristas and staff members, so being a team player and helping out where needed is important.
Positive attitude and passion for coffee: A love for coffee and a commitment to making customers’ days better with every cup.
What will your work environment be like?:
Beautiful: You’ll be working in an iconic, unforgettable, and inspiring location. You’ll have the opportunity to explore and take in the stunning scenery and wildlife of the Canadian Rockies.
Fun: You’ll meet teammates from around the world and have the chance to participate in a variety of team-building events and activities.
Independent: Your days will be spent in and around our incredible properties, where you’ll experience a unique, close-knit environment.
Remote: Our home is surrounded by lush trees, sparkling lakes, and clear blue skies—not buildings, freeways, or smog.
Active: Be prepared for a physically demanding work environment that may involve walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as needed.
We work as a team and believe that we succeed together – these job duties may change based on the needs of the team and company as a whole.
