What will be your daily pursuit?:
Your daily pursuit is creating a welcoming environment for guests by providing a seamless, safe, and enjoyable experience!

What will your compensation be?:
The starting salary for this position is $18.00.

What will you do in this job?:
Greets Banff Gondola guests
Assisting with ticket sales, combo packages, questions, directions, and guidance in visiting our attractions and the Canadian Rockies
Use a computerized ticketing systems to issue and process guest ticket
Handles cash and credit transactions
Validates tickets prior to boarding
Performs crowd management and line control
Be a Memory Maker for our programming events
Solicit guest feedback
Assist in keeping work areas clean
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
A high level of customer service is paramount, along with attaining a high level of knowledge of the Banff Gondola, its interpretive stations, and the unique natural features and habitat of the area
A high level of customer service and experience in guest services, or similar
Attention to detail and good communication and listening skills with local and international guests and staff
Second language skills highly advantageous
Solid knowledge of the products and services available in Banff and its surroundings
Accuracy and efficiency in handling large amounts of cash ($CAD and $US) and debit/credit transactions under fast-paced and busy conditions
Work in a fast-paced environment and overcome guest objections
Physical demands including constant use of hands, repetitive actions and speaking, sitting/standing for long periods of time, frequent bending/twisting and working outdoors
