Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts (CRMR) is hiring for an Assistant Human Resources Manager.

Primary Function: The Assistant Human Resources Manager will be responsible for employee training programs, onboarding, health & safety initiatives, internal communications, and team member experience. This role manages key programs to engage staff, support their growth, promote wellbeing and ultimately retain talent across CRMR.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead coordination and execution of CRMR staff training initiatives including new hire orientation, leadership development, guest service, etc.

· Oversee health and safety programs companywide including Manage WCB, WorkSafeBC incident reporting, Drive modified work arrangements and Maintain compliance with WCB, WorkSafeBC standards.

· Develop robust onboarding framework to immerse new employees.

· Build out community relations programming and partnerships.

· Support internal communications to increase employee engagement.

· Work with property leadership to develop and implement team member recognition programs and staff engagement events that enhance workplace culture and morale.

· Collaborate on policy building and updating procedures.

· Partner with Director of Human Resources on retention strategies and workplace culture.

· Help administer employee experience surveys and execute action plans.

· Evaluate program effectiveness through retention metrics and engagement scores.

· Regular onsite visits to all the Lodges/Food & Beverage outlets

· Demonstrate high standards of professionalism in all activities undertaken, and display approachable, fair, and confidential behaviors that are consistent with CRMR values.

· Assist with monthly/yearly reporting as required.

· Lead of HR department in absence of Director of Human Resources

· Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Human Resources.

Requirements/Experience:

· 2-5 years in HR or relative experience in Hospitality Management

· Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment

· General knowledge of various employment laws and practices

· Strong written and verbal skills, detail oriented

· Previous Hotel/Food & Beverage Operations experience an asset.

· Self-directed, adaptable, and able to work within a fast paced, changing environment.

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

· Physical demands, sitting, standing, bending, lifting (up to 30 lbs.)
