This fun, summer job runs from April/May until September/October. Compensation: The starting salary for this role is $17.50 per hour. Discounted hotel stays under Pursuit’s lodging offerings, and discounted food & beverage and retail experiences The chance to work in an inclusive culture and make life-long friends Access to subsidized mental health and wellness resources Opportunities for career growth or future work at other Pursuit locations Access to one of the world’s most beautiful and iconic National Parks What will you do in this job?: Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest Be prepared for a fast-paced work environment with changing conditions Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills Work in a team environment as well as independently Greet and welcome all Lake Minnewanka guests; answer emails and phone calls Ensure smooth operation by coordinating tour boats departures; operate radio communication hub Operate all POS systems for bookings, ticketing & retails; handle cash and credit transactions Understand and promote all products, services and policies offered by Pursuit BJC Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked retail floor Sustain a safe environment in all areas controlled by Lake Minnewanka Cruise Participate in the global effort to keep all areas of Minnewanka clean and wildlife safe What skills and experience do you need for this job?: Able to work in a team environment as well as independently Attention to detail and good communication skills Ability to think calmly and clearly in any situation Cash handling experience Strong customer service skills Second language an asset To honour our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record check What will your work environment be like?: Beautiful.
