THE ROLE Thank you for your interest in joining our team as Bell Desk Attendant. Duties include (but are not limited to): Assist with Front Desk duties such as check-in, check-outs, making guest keys, etc. Ensure driveway and entrance are clean and clear of garbage, dirt, snow and ice Greet guests upon arrival and open doors Control in-coming and out-going traffic Correctly identify stored bags Take and retrieve luggage and luggage carts as requested and required Deliver packages to guest rooms or respective departments Being knowledgeable of the Hotel, all its outlets, its layout and services Being knowledgeable of Banff National Park, activities and dining options Provide a high standard of customer service Ideal Candidate / Job Requirements: Must have flexible schedule and availability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, Occasionally required to work overnight shifts as needed, Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, Previous hotel experience at the front desk, bell desk, concierge, reservations or related experience is preferred, Is capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods of time, Frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs, Is a capable multi-tasker with keen attention to detail, Must be professional and friendly in person and over the telephone, Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.75-$19.50 per hour Benefits: Company events Dental care Disability insurance Discounted or free food Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Vision care Application question(s): When is your available start date?
